Ces musiques totalement réorchestrées, proviennent à 95% de jeux sortis sur NES et SNES. Autant dire que ces musiques plairont surtout aux fans des RPG sortis à l'époque où Nintendo dominait le marché du jeu-vidéo.
On retrouve bien evidemment les grands noms du monde des jeux-vidéo dans ces albums : Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy), Koji Kondo (Mario, Zelda), Hayato Matsuo (Front Mission, Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest), Koichi Sugiyama (Dragon Quest) et même Yoko Kanno qui a participé à la composition et à la réorchestration des morceaux.
